St Thomas Choir
Culture > Music and Literature
St Thomas' church choir meet at 9:15am every Sunday in the choir vestry and rehearse the hymns and anthem for the Communion service. No previous experience is required; the ability to read music would be advantageous - but not essential.
The choir meets every week; this is currently a nucleus of between eight to ten singers who assist in the congregational singing of a mass setting and an anthem during the Communion. In addition, there are a number of larger services where a number of singers come and join us from other churches and choirs; for example for Midnight Mass and Patronal Festival Choral Evensong.
If you are interested in joining the choir or would like to find out more please feel free to contact Gill Tucker, Director of Music via music@stthomaswells.co.uk
